To the man I always looked forward to seeing during the Parade on the 9th of August.
To the man who transformed this "mudflat into a metropolis."
To the man who has been ridiculed many a time by many.
To the man who has made me so proud of my country.
Thank you, Sir.
If there's one thing I keep reminding my students whenever I teach them expository essays, it'll be about how thankful you all should be, to be raised here in SG.
Rest in peace, LKY. I don't know how we're gonna celebrate SG50 without you.
